I am suppose to find how many centimeters are in 10 feet. I know i can just google the answer but i wanna know what i would have to do to solve it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find out how many meters are in one feet. Then by doing so multiply the number of meters by 10 because you want to know the number of meters in 10 feet, because previously you found the meters in 1 feet. Then after getting the number of meters in 10 feet, convert the meters to cm by multiplying by a 100. Hope this helps.

There are 2.54 centimetres to an inch, and 12 inches to one foot 2.54 x 10 x 12 =304.8 centimeters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just find how many centimeters are in one foot. So, that would be 30.48 for one foot. Then, multiply that by 10. You should get 304.8
