A
OpenStudy (vanessagilbert1023):
wrong.
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
Alright...
\[\large y = 4x -2\]
this is slope intercept form...where 4 - sloe and -2 = y-intercept
If that is true...we know this line passes through the y-axis at -2....
A clearly doesn't so that is out
OpenStudy (vanessagilbert1023):
Yeah I already got it wrong, lol could you help with this one

Graphs just confuse me so badly, that's why I like geometry better than Algebra. Lol
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
Alright so put it like this...
Look at A....if you go 1 unit up (to add 1 to the 'y') ... and then 3 units to the left (to subtract 3 from the 'x')...will you still be in the shaded area? Or on the line?
OpenStudy (vanessagilbert1023):
no..
OpenStudy (vanessagilbert1023):
iis it b?
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
You will be on the line...move that point 1 up...and then move it 3 to the left...you are on the line...so still satisfying...
Yes the answer IS B
