Write down tons of notes so you can gloss over them easily and not have to go through the whole textbook to study. Make sure you read your notes a lot. And do a lot of questions on the topics you are given to make sure you understand the ideas presented.

spend time studying put your phone away, id actually suggest getting a phone that can only call and basic text if you get tempted to do more on it, study in schools library if your family is a distraction

Write notes that are easy for you to understand. Keep your notes organized! My biggest problem is always organization, sometimes dividers or separators for different subtopics are great for studying. Sometimes I record myself or someone else reading my notes so that I can listen to the information. If you have a text book try writing down the bullet points. :)
