Simplify
simplify what
\[\sqrt[4]{2000}\]
how do i do this?
You can use a calculator, maybe.
i can but i want to know how to do this manually
\[2000=125\times 2^4\]
A. 6.7 B. 7 C. 14 D. 63
\(\ \sf \Large \sqrt[4]{2000} = \sqrt[4]{16} \times \sqrt[4]{125} \) \(\ \sf \Large \sqrt[4]{2^4} \times \sqrt[4]{5^3} \) \(\ \sqrt[4]{2^4} = 2^{\frac{4}{4}} = 2 \color{green}{\checkmark} \) \(\ \sqrt[4]{5^3} = 5^{\frac{3}{4}} = 5^{3/4} \) \(\ \sf \Large 2 \times 5^{3/4} \) You can check by raising 2000^0.25 and then multiplying 2 * 5^3/4 = 2 * 5^0.75
Use the rational property of exponents
Just one advice in regards to latex. a small and not essential difference. n^{n} \(\Huge\color{blue}{ \bf n^{n} }\) n^n \(\Huge\color{blue}{ \bf n^n }\) see the difference? I came up with this by accident recently.
Ty u guys!!
No, they look sort of the same, the first one is a little higher
Yes, the first one is a little higher. I said not essential difference, but looks tiny bit better :)
The fraction huh :)
For me none are better, I get disconnected because of the latex either way, and a lot. And yeah, the fraction would also be a little higher and t/f a little bit better, but it doesn't really matter...
