What is the difference amine hormones and protein hormones?

thyroid gland makes up small hormones made out of few amino acids which contain amine groups, and more complex protein hormones are made by pituitary gland, stomach, anyway I think the key difference is how fast they response, amine hormones like adrenalin (epinephrine) reacts quickly in fight of flight response, while something else regulating your moms menstrual cycle acts slower and is much more complex

I read somewhere that an amine hormone is made up of up to 100 amino-acids and a protein hormone is made up of more than 100 amino-acids. Is that correct?
