A rectangle has a length that is 3 times the width. Use the formula P = 2l +2w to determine the length if the perimeter is 32 and the width is 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 2

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

length that is 3 times the width -- GO 32 = 2l + 2(4) -- Go!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first multiply 2 by 4 equal 8 and then 32 divide by 8 equals 4. then 4 divide by to equals the answer which is 2.
