OpenStudy (starryknight):

can someone explain this to me step by step What is the range of the following function? f(x) = |x – 2| f(x) ≥ 0 x ≥ 2 f(x) ≥ 2 x ≥ 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first of all the range is for the \(f(x)\) values, not the \(x\) values, so the two answers on the right make no sense at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

secondly, the absolute value of anything is always greater than or equal to zero, making your answer \[f(x)\geq 0\] there are no "steps" other than thinking steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i.e. there are no algebra steps, only reasoning steps
