To those who answered my previous question, how would I do this? What numerical value must b be greater than for such a box to exist? Thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Enter the dimensions of a rectangular box with a volume of 50b3 - 3 - 2b + 75b2. (5b - 1)(5b + 1)(2b + 3)

OpenStudy (phi):

First, if a box has width, length and height and the box exists, can the width (for example) be zero ? Can the width be negative ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it can, but I'm trying to see what b is to make the sentence. I'm not too sure on the logistics of it, because there is no constant answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, I figured it out. It was 1/5. Thanks for your help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wrong
