Beowulf and The Divine Comedy are similar in that both works are written in an early version of Italian dramatized events from the lives of everyday people influenced the development of the language in which they were written are still widely read today in their original form

The Divine Comedy was written in Italain, but Beowulf was written in Old English.. So I would have to go with That they are still widely read in their orginal form
