Can someone explain this? Tell whether each function is quadratic. Explain. 3X+2Y=8

no it isn't because a quadratic because a quadratic always has an x^2 (x squared/x to the power of two) and equals zero. you can rearrange this function so that it equals zero (3x+2y-8=0) but it still doesn't have the x^2.
