Does osmosis and diffusion require a solute and solvent? :)

Diffusion is the movement of the solute, while osmosis is the movement of the solvent.
So I'd say you need them.

umm..i say diffusion does not require both...its just a transfer of molecules from their higher conc to their lower conc....but osmosis..yes...
