2x + 8 - 8 = -10 - 8 => 2x = -18 thus, x=-9 and not -1/3 and you're welcom dear :D

Line 4 is x/4 x 4 It didn't really look that way on the picture.

in the 2nd line : x/4 +3 - 3 = -12 -3 which is equal to : x/4=-15 , right?
