OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 cm = 3 ft. What would be the actual length of a wall that was 5 cm on the blueprint?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if 1 cm is 3 feet, then 5 cm would be 5 times what 1 cm is. In other words 5x3 feet

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\large \begin{array}{ccllll} cm&ft\\ \hline\\ 1&3\\ 5&x \end{array} \bf \implies \cfrac{1}{5}=\cfrac{3}{x}\)
