if you started with one bacteria cell, give an approximate time frame for how long it would take to multiply into 1024 bacteria

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, suppose it takes time \(t\) to double. We'd say: \[ 1024 = 2^t \]Since \[ 1024 = 2^{10} \]That means it \(t=10\). So it has to double ten times. This means it would take \(10t\) amount of time.
