1 example of personification in any book

OpenStudy (anonymous):

PERSONIFICATION (n.): The attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something nonhuman, or the representation of an abstract quality in human form. Act II, scene iii in William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" from Friar Lawrence: "The grey-eyed morn smiles on the frowning night, Chequering the eastern clouds with streaks of light." This is an example of personification because the morning can't smile, that's a human trait.

Personification is giving human characteristic's to a non human thing. Like the flower is swimming in the ocean.

That's basically what I said @Paintsplat2000
