One of the easier approaches to answering this question involves applying the midpoint formula(s). Are you familiar with those formulas? If so, type out the formula for the midpoint between the 2 given x-values.
I used a formula to help me, I'm working out the numbers now.
(-0.5,0.5)
Think: what is the number precisely half-way between x=-2 and x=-3? It's not -0.5. The Midpoint Formula for x is as follows: \[\frac{ x _{1}+x _{2} }{ 2 }.\] Would you please take the 2 given x-coordinates and substitute them into this formula? What is the midpoint's x-component?
