Which statement does not accurately describe the Cold War? A. Yugoslavia had a communist government but resisted Soviet control. B. The United States sent aid to Greece and Turkey to prevent communism from spreading to those countries. C. When Hungarians tried to gain independence, the Soviet Union sent in tanks to crush the revolt. D. When Stalin blockaded access to the city of Berlin, the western allies refused to intervene.
Hmmm... I think C is the correct answer. Everything else seems to fall in line.

Ok thanks
D is not true. The Allies responded with the Berlin Airlift when the Soviets blockade Berlin. They continued to supply to west half of the city until the blockade was lifted. C is true. The Hungary's attempt at independence during 2 months in 1956 was met with Soviet tanks in the streets of Budapest. Sorta like Ukraine today
