Help please! (: Problem pasted below.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

distance = speed x time integrating the varying speed gives u distance travelled

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

distance travelled using left endpoints : 2(100 + 80 + 50 + 25 + 10) distance travelled using right endpoints : 2(80 + 50 + 25 + 10 + 0)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

compute them, for partb, you can make a decision based on above result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how'd you get 2 to multiply with the sum of the left/right points? @ganeshie8

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

2 is the time interval

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

actually i didnt show one step

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

distance travelled using left endpoints : 2*100 + 2*80 + 2*50 + 2*25 + 2*10

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

(time interval) x (speed recorded for that interval)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

add up all the distances, to get the total distances

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 200+160+100+50+20= 530 for left end points?
