It not universally true lol. 2cosθsecθ-tanθcosθ= 2*cosθ*1/cosθ - sinθ*cosθ / cosθ = 2-sinθ = 1. Which leaves you with sinθ=1.Which means θ=pi/2 + 2k*pi, for k=1,2,....
