Which set of integers is listed in increasing order? absolute value of one, negative two, absolute value of twenty absolute value of negative two, absolute value of one, negative twenty negative two, absolute value of negative one, absolute value of twenty absolute value of negative twenty, negative two, negative one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put them in numbers for me, if it is absolute value but it like this |x| if it is negative put it like this -x mk

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

take the following into an account. 1) negative number is always less than an absolute value of any number. 2) -3 < -2 as opposed to positive 2 and 3 , where 3>2. 3) absolute value of a negative 5 equals positive 5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-20, -2, -2, -2, -1, 1, 1, 1, 20, 20. the absolute value is just the value of how far the number is from zero so |20|=|-20|

I gave you the answer and he gets the medal.... spectacular -.-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is the third one C. I misread the question, lol

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

@jzellem1004 the answer is not the point, the point is the learning process... also I average get a lot of medals anyway, so 1 medal wouldn't critically damage me, even if I cared more than what I do now. Giving an answer is not right, you should guide whomever asks the question and the asker should come up with the correct answer, b/c of the good help he got.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess I cant argue with that.... my apologizes
