Will Give Medal and Fan + Testimonial
I have no idea how to tell which kind of poem these poems are. The choices are poetry of place, poetry of spirit, poetry of nature and poetry of family... so the first poem is:
Dove-twirl in the tall grass.
End-of-summer glaze next door
On the gloves and split ends of the conked magnolia tree.
Work sounds: truck back-up-beep, wood tin-hammer, cicada, fire horn.
