Richard accepted a part time job where he is paid $10.50 an hour. To find how much he's earned, he uses the equation p=10.5h where p is the amount of money he's earned and h is the hours he's worked. Which variable is the dependent variable? A. h B. p C. There is no relationship between the variables.
The dependent variable depends on something else In this case the amount of money he earned depends on the amount of hours he has worked If he worked one hr then he will only receive $10.50. If he works 2 hrs he will receive $21 So the amount of money received is dependent on the amount of hours worked
So what would your educated guess be
idk 100 sumtim
what???
i have no idea :/
Is the dependent variable h which is the amount of hours worked Is the dependent variable p which is the amount of money received for the amt of hrs worked Or is there no dependent variables?? Like I have stated above there is a dependent variable which is the amount of money received is dependent on the amount of hours worked
i dont get it :(
Well ok lets say you work at KFC And your boss tells you that you will receive $10 per hour If you work only one hr you only get $10 If you work 2 hours you get $20 So the amount of money you make that day is dependent on how many hours you worked that day.
Do you agree with me?
yeah
is it b?
Yes :)
wow i got it right??? thank you :)
