If you recognize that this is a right triangle, the problem becomes fairly straightforward. Given the leg lengths, what is the hypotenuse of this triangle? Secondly, how do we define the cosine of an angle? Once you've found the hypotenuse length, you'll have all the info you need to determine the cosine of the angle in question.
