i can do this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one seck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just add them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know dumb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not dumb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have the values of each variable so you plug them in and solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try to figure them out ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the values given for each variable?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its -19.3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its -19.3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh '.'

Renton you shouldn't tell her something this simple. This is a skill people learn in middle school at the latest and she needs to figure it out on her own.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im trying to help and she tried

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If someone is seriously not understanding simple algebraic equations then they need to be helped, walked through the steps. Giving her the answer isn't helping.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You said to add so that's what I did and that's how I got A o.0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's an understandable result.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i didn't mean to cause trouble you can take over

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you add a negative to a positive (like the equation given) you're going to get a negative answer. A lot of hthe time people forget this (I did for a longgg time) and they ignore the entire equation given.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And when adding a negative and a positive, the answer will be smaller.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you.
