Can someone help me with finding the limit of a function using substitution?

Given \[\lim_{x \rightarrow 0}(x^2 - 5)\] Let x = 0, then \[\lim_{x \rightarrow 0}(x^2 - 5) = 0^2 - 5 = 0 - 5 = -5\]
