Little confused...question states, what is the possible values of m subscript l for each value of l? They give 3 as l, but what is confusing me is how to figure this out without knowing n. Could someone please help?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

They have to specify \(l\). n= any positive integer \(\large l=\pm (n-1)\) ..to zero \(\large m_l=\pm l\) ..to zero so if \(l\)=3 \(\large m_l=\pm 3\) to zero, so \(\large m_l=-3,-2,-1,0,+1,+2,+3\)
