I really think that D, because Karl Marx worked in economics a lot. Same time C could be a very viable answer as well.

The answer is A. Both of the books mentioned were solely about economics. Also, Karl Marx disliked religion, believing it existed simply because of economic realities.. Marx once said "The religious world is but the reflex of the real world.”

@BlueDigitalCamo[SFH2] the question asks what "was not part" of his philosophy. Both of those answers you mentioned were apart of his philosophy.
