The Pretty Pizza Company wants to open a new pizza place either on the north side of town or the south side of town. They want to open the pizza place where the ratio of pizza places per person is currently less than 0.01. The population of 15 blocks of the north side of town is 225 people per block, but there are already 36 pizza places in the area. The population of 22 blocks of the south area is 275 people per block, and there are 37 pizza places in the area. Where, if anywhere, should the Pretty Pizza Company open a new pizza place?

? how do u know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know i have 2 use the density formula but how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply the people per block by how many blocks are in the north area. Then do the same for the south area. Next divide the pizza places in the north by the total people in the North and do the same for the South. Finally, see if this ratio is .01 pizza places per person or lower
