how this technology (Artificial insemination) may alter the genetic composition of a population?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well id say that it definetly would increase genetic diversity incases where the host doesnt have any source of mates, because the gametes are recieved from a donor that is likley from a different gene pool. And even if the gametes that the organism recieves were from the same population as long as the donor isnt directly related genetic diversity would still increase.

...why?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

study biology and learn the terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have studied biology buddy. Why exactly do you do think my response is incoherent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you be more specific. Im curious on what your thoughts are

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

my thoughts would be to close this thread and re-post in biology section

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ive studied the textbooks sufficient to know that what i am saying is correct, though i agree i might be a little rusty.
