What is the interior face formula for a rectangular prism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the exact same thing about the exterior one i guess, if we're talking about the same thing. the formula for surface area for a rectangular prism is: 4a+2f, where f is the surface area of the face of the prism, and a is the SA for the sides inbetween the 2 faces. also, to calculate SA anywhere for rectangles, squares etc, it's length times width. therefore, SA=4a+2f.

interior not exterior
