Carniel, it doesn't matter. If someone can answer it they get a medal. I look other places BEFORE I come here, and if someone can help me then great! But this is like a "I have looked and can't figure it out, and need help figuring it out." place. Medals a just a reward for answering.

If we had not refered the external information then we would had gone for answer A which is wrong. If we have a y doubts regarding any topic we have the right to get the information from an external site. It will of course be good for the person asking the question.

@Carniel It says nothing about external sites. Look, doing research is a good thing. If I can't answer a question, but I know I might be able to, I look at an external site, expand MY knowledge and help the questioner. I was suggesting that they do some research themselves, because that would help them answer it, and it isn't "Cheating the system.", its trying to help by not saying the answer. Help them figure out how to answer without help.

I don't see why you can't use external sites to answer questions...
You should note the source though, which was done here (although wikipedia is always a questionable source since it could be written by anyone).
What you should not do is copy/paste answers from yahoo or ask and then ask for medals and stuff like that.
You should also not answer questions like: It's A. Always back your answers up with some explanation. If possible, try to work to the answer by eliminating the wrong answers.

As for cheating: You cheat when you give or ask for test answers/questions here, or when you let others do your homework.

Cheating the medal system (making a massive amount of questions and give eachother medals) rarely happens, since not many people really care about smartscores anyways.
