Please answer i need help. area between the curves question. y=1/x, y=8 and y=x^3. What is the area inbetween ? Thanks
Please see attached. This is what I think is meant by area 'in between' those functions. I would say, calculate the various points of intersection between the functions (they seem obvious from the graph but it's difficult to be sure), then use definite integrals to calculate some areas between the functions and the x-axis and finally do some additions and/or subtractions of these areas to arrive at the area required.
