Find the measure of F if D =88

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a right angle triangle right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use simple trigonometry. |dw:1397147274594:dw| Since both these triangles are equal we can then use 40degree because it's same on the other triagle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now we need to find the value of f which could be solved as \[\cos40^{0}=\frac{ f }{ 88 }\]\[x= 88 \times \cos40^{0} = 67.4\]

got it?

@Gurmeet thanks
