Evaluate the following expression using the values given: Find 4x - y - 2z if x = -2, y = 3, and z = -2 -15 15 -7 7

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

4x - y - 2z If you plug in the values you'll end up ; 4(-2) - (3) - 2(-2) 4 * -2 = -8 3 = 3 2 * -2 = -4 so -8 - 3 - -4 Since there's a subtraction sign in front of a negatie, it becomes positive so -8 - 3 + 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

than -8-3 would be -11 than -11+4 would be -7 right?

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

Yep :)
