Which is the graph of the function g(x) = |x – 3|?

matha

First consider the function f(x) = |x|. It is the well known abs function and looks like |dw:1397150462190:dw| Now observe that g(x) = f(x - 3), which means the graph of g is that of f shifted 3 steps to the right.

I have an alternative solution if you're interested.

What the heck i'll just post it. Evaluate g at x=1 to establish that (1, |1 - 3|) = (1, |-2|) = (1, 2) is a point on the curve. Only matha satisfies that condition.
