12x³+24x²-18x

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

Are you factoring?

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

If so, then you need to first take out the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) The common factors in this are 6 and x. So you would pull them out. \[\frac{ 12x^{3} }{ 6x }\] \[\frac{ 24x^{2} }{ 6x }\] \[\frac{ -18x }{ 6x }\] Simplified would be 6x(3x^2+4x-3) Then you just have to factor the equation in the parentheses.
