Which line has a slope of 2? I have a hard time figuring out these kinds of problems, pleeaassee help me through it so I can get a better understanding!

I know it's either B or C since the slope is positive, but I'm really leaning towards C, idk why lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is c you are right :-) glad i could help medal me?

OpenStudy (hoblos):

you have two ways to solve this problem. first method: slope is rise over run , so when the slope is 2, it means that for each step to the right , the line goes to steps upwards second method: you can choose two points on each line and calculate the slope using the formula \[m = \frac{ y_2 - y_1 }{ x_2 - x_1 }\]

Yeah that's why I thought it was C, go up 2 and over 1 from 0, it's right on C :P Thanks guys ^.^

OpenStudy (hoblos):

can you look closer once again

OpenStudy (hoblos):

if you take the point (-4,0) for example when you go 1 step to the right, does it rise 2 steps ?
