-4+(-3)-(-2)

geerky42 (geerky42):

Remember, \(- \times - = +\)

geerky42 (geerky42):

So that make -(-2) to +2

OpenStudy (kohai):

The thing to remember here is: A positive and a negative makes a negative. A negative and a negative makes a positive.

OpenStudy (kohai):

So, the -4 + (-3) would become -4 - 3, and the -(-2) would become a + 2

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

if the signs are alike, either both neg or both pos, the resulting sign will be positive. if the signs are different, then the resulting sign will be negative. Do not get this mixed up with adding/subtracting of different signs, because that is a whole new set of rules.
