the surface area of a rectangle prism is 166 square feet. the surface area of a similar rectangular prism is 1494 square feet. if the length of the smaller prism is 5 feet, what is the length of the larger prism?

If a/b = the scale factor and a^2/b^2 equals the ratio of two similey obejects surface area, you can fin the surface area ratio, square root each term, and find the scale factor. From there you should be able to find the proportion using your scale factor and the two lengths.
