Find the zeros of the polynomial functions. 1. f(x) = x^2 + 9x + 20 2. f(x) = x^2 − 4x − 60 3.Find the roots of the polynomial equation. x2 + 2x − 48 = 0 4.Find the roots of the polynomial equation. x2 + 24 = −11x

1) x = 0 --> y = 20 2) x = 0 --> y = -60 3). x^2 + 2x - 48 = 0 Solve it by the Diagonal Sum Method. Roots have different signs. Compose factor pairs of c = -48. Find the pair that the sum is -b = -2. The 2 real roots are 6 and -8. 4) x^2 + 11x + 24 = 0 Both roots are negative. Compose factor pair of c = 24. Proceeding: (-1, -24)(-2, -12)(-3, -8). This last sum is: -3 - 8 = -11 = -b. The 2 real roots are -3 and -8.
