The nth term of an arithmetic sequence is given by:\[\Large a _{n} = a_1 + (n-1)d\]
\[\Large a _{4} = a_1 + (4-1)d = 13\] \[\Large a _{8} = a_1 + (8-1)d = 41\]
You have 2 equations and 2 unknowns: \[\Large a_1~~and~~d\]. Solve for them.
Once you solve for \[\Large a_1~~and~~d\] put it into the equation in my first reply with n = 239 to find the 239th term.
