C=J+1 If Carla's age is graphed as a function of James age, what will be the coordinates of the x- and y-intercepts for the graph function? A. X-intercept: (0,1) y-intercept (-1,0) B x-intercept (James) y-intercept (Carla) C intercept (1,0) y-intercept (1,0) D x-intercept (-1,0) y-intercept (0,1)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Well the function states that Carla will be whatever age James is...but + 1 year... So Carla would be the 'y' axis James would be the 'x' axix When carla is 0....James was not born yet because he is -1 lol so (0, -1) and when James is 0...carla is 0 + 1 = 1 so (1 , 0) So x-intercept = (1 , 0) and y-intercept = (0 ,-1)
