Calculate 'x' and 'y'. Will give medals.

In the diagram RS//PAQ, CD//ASB, \[ADC=62^{o}\] and \[QAD=26^{o}\]

Assuming QAP is a strait line then we know that \[y+26=180\] so \[y=180-36=154\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 26 so y=154

any other clue???

OpenStudy (alekos):

Angle BAD = 62 Angle BAQ = 62 - 26 = 36

OpenStudy (alekos):

So Angle RSA is also 36 and 2x + 36 = 180 so x = 1/2(180-36) = 72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where line CD intersects line PQ is an angle that is 180 - 26 - (180-62) = 36. This is also the same angle RSA. This means x = (180-36)/2=72.
