So @gurrilabill You know a vertical line has the form x = something You know a SOLID vertical line has an equation \(\large x \ge\) or \(\large x \le \) something So here...we have a solid vertical line that goes through the x-axis at x = 5

But the shaded area ...is it LESS than? or GREATER than 5? Well....looks like one spot in that shaded area is x = 4 right? so it looks like the shaded area is LESS than 5 so \[\large x \le 5\]
