No. In fact it caused the development of the Horsehead Act. This act enabled the King to put taxes on not only his horses, but his women and children as well. Historians believe this to be the earliest form of slavery. Furthermore, the Boston Masacre almost directly inspired the Civil War seeing as both Abraham Lincoln and Harriet Tubman were present.
