OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

First find a gcf, they have one in common, 2. 2x^2 + 14x + 12 2(x^2 + 7x + 6) Then take 1 and 6 and multiply them together, find a number that when added gives you 7. 1 * 6 = 6 and 1 + 6 = 7 2(x^2 + x + 6x + 6) now factor by grouping, x(x + 1) 6(x + 1) 2(x + 1)(6 + x) Lol it's not D @paki

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Technically the order doesn't matter, however it's technically (x+6) I just typed 6. 2(x + 1)(x+6)
