I was just having issues with this... It's A, C, and D. Abbots were the ones who were in charge of their monasteries. They gave the orders. The priest answered only two people, and that was the pope AND his bishop Priest gave advise to the people when they were in need. D is just plain obvious, Monks were men who had separated themselves from society in order to lead holy lives. They often banded together in small communities to live on the outskirts of cities in the Roman Empire. They lived in places called monasteries
