if you can just give me the rules i'll be able to find the answer @jigglypuff314
You mean like these? :) sin(angle) = opposite / hypotenuse cos(angle) = adjacent / hypotenuse tan(angle) = opposite / adjacent
and yes
Correct! :D
yay i got around 2 more i need help with is it ok if you help me with them if not i understannd
lol of course I'll help ^_^
and thank you
hmmm I haven't done dialations in a while, but I think a dialation of 2 means that you multiply each side length by 2 so 22 times 2 = and 5 times 2 = and that should make your fraction :)
yes, I think so :)
ok and do i need to simplify this?
hmmm... I'm not entirely sure... :/ my way of doing it might not have been correct, sorry, you might want to check it with someone else?
you still want to answer my last question?
Sure :) I can try ^_^
ok here you go
The sin, cos, and tan rules can only be used when one of the angles in the triangle is 90 degrees right? so thinking in the reverse idea from sin(30) = 1/2 you can draw it to be like |dw:1397247089570:dw|
Correct! :D
really?
can you explain why because i think i did it wrong that is why i am shocked
They want you to get the cos of something that something can't be the 90 degree angle so that leaves just the 30 or 60 degree angles then if you wanted to get the cos(30) you would have gotten a weird radical from pythagorean theorem but if you chose cos(60) you see that adj would then be 1 and hyp would be 2 |dw:1397247493999:dw|
oh nvm i did it the same way i'm so proud of my self and happy you helped me
I'm glad I could help ^_^ you're doing a great job! <3
i got question 4 wrong but it's fine i got a B so thank you so much
Sorry about that, and You're Welcome :P ^_^
no problem at least you helped me understand it better and that is what matters
*sniff* that's beautiful ;D I love people like you <3
