So the way you do these are: If it's an x + 3, your starting point is -3 on the x-axis If it's an x - 3, your starting ponit is +3 on the x-axis If you add 2 afterwards, your y-value is 2 If you subtract 2 afterwards, your y-value is -2 If you have a - before the square root, it's reflected √x-3 -2 looks like:|dw:1397249088902:dw| If the problem was -√x-3 -2, the graph would look like this: |dw:1397249281308:dw|
