You seem to be mixing up your positive and negatives. (The two you gave are wrong.) Lets look at Number 1 to start. Inside the square root is (x-3), this means the graph will be the square root function but shifted three units right, (ie. the tip will be at x=3). Outside the square root is +2 so the whole thing will be shifted up 2 units. (i.e. the tip will be at y=2.) The only graph that fits both of these is 'E'.

Best way to learn this is to learn the rules of transformation f(x-h)+k h shrift from right to left and k up and down 1) f(x)= (x-3)^.5 +2 h=3 and k = 2 shift 2 up and 3 to the right
